ABRAHAM HASELTINE (1648–1711), son of Robert Haseltine and Ann Unknown
ELIZABETH LONGHORNE (1649–1704), daughter of Richard Longhorne and Mary Crosby
Abraham, the son of Robert and Ann Haseltine, was born on 23 May 1648 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts. [1] He died on 28 April 1711 in Bradford, Essex County, Massachusetts. [2] He married first Elizabeth Longhorne on 7 October 1669 in Rowley. [1] He married second Hannah ___.
Elizabeth Longhorne, the daughter of Richard and Mary Longhorne, was born in September 1649 in Rowley. [1] She died on 27 or 29 March 1704 and is buried in the Ancient Burying Ground in Bradford. [2][3]
Abraham was on the grand jury at the March 1670 court in Ipswich. [4, 7: 332]
Abraham was admitted to the church in Rowley on 7 March 1671. [5, 82]
In a 24 September 1695 court case, Abraham Haseltine and Elizabeth, his wife, are referred as a daughter and co-heir of Richard Longhorne of Rowley. [6]
Abraham died intestate. Inventory was taken on his estate on 5 November 1711. His widow Hannah refused administration on 6 November 1711. Richard Haseltine posted bond on the same day. An account of the administration of the estate was presented on 2 December 1711. [7]
Children of Abraham Haseltine and Elizabeth Longhorne:
i. Mary Haseltine was born on 30 April 1672 in Rowley. She was baptized on 5 May 1672 in Rowley. She died on 5 January 1731. She married first Samuel Stickney. She married second Joseph Tidd.
ii. Deacon Robert Haseltine was born on 16 August 1674 in Bradford. He was baptized on 25 October 1674 in Rowley. [5, 106] He died on 5 June 1760. He married Sarah Spofford. Robert and Sarah are buried in the Ancient Burying Ground in Bradford. [3] The inscription on their gravestone say: [3]

HERE LIES BURIED THE BODY OF Mrs SARAH THE WIFE OF DEAc ROBERT HASELTINE WHO DIED JANr Ye 22nd 1755 IN Ye 73rd YEAR OF HER AGE.
iii. Elizabeth Haseltine was born on 29 April 1677 in Bradford. [1] She died on 20 May 1758. [3] She married Thomas Carlton. [3] Thomas and Elizabeth are buried in the Ancient Burying Ground in Bradford. [3] The inscriptions on their gravestones say: [3]

Here lyes buried the body of Mrs Elizabeth ye late widow of Mr Thomas Carlton who died May the 20th AD 1758 & in the 82d year of her age.
iv. Lieutenant Richard Haseltine was born on 13 November 1679 in Bradford. [2] He died on 8 March 1755. [3] He married first Abigail Chadwick. She died on 24 July 1743. [3] He married second Sarah Barron. She died in February 1754. [3] Richard and his wives are buried in the Ancient Burying Ground in Bradford. [3] Their inscriptions say: [3]
Here Lies Buried the Body of Lieuth Richard Haseltine who Died the 8th of March 1755 and in the 76 Years of his age.
Hear lyes buried the body of Mrs. Abigail Haseltine the wife of Lieut Richard Haseltine who died July the 24th 1743 in the 60th year of her age.
Here lies buried the body of Mrs Sarah ye wife of Liuet Richard Haseltine who died Febr 1754 in the 66 year of her age.
v. Mehitable Haseltine was born on 29 April 1677 in Bradford. [2] She died on 17 January 1749. [3] She married John Chadwick. He died on 16 February 1755. [3] John and Mehitable are buried in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Boxford. [3] The inscriptions on their gravestones say:
HERE LIES BURIED THE BODY OF Mr JOHN CHADWICK WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE FEBry 16 1755 IN THE 79 YEAR OF HIS AGE
HERE LIES BURIED THE BODY OF MRs MEHETABEL THE WIFE OF Mr JOHN CHADWICK WHO DIED JANUARY 17th 1749 And In the 62th YEARS OF HER AGE.
