WILLIAM KING (d. 1653)
SARAH GRIGGS (1637–by 1665), daughter of George Griggs and Alice Unknown
William died on 4 December 1653 in Boston. [1] He married Sarah, the daughter of George and Alice Griggs. [1]
Sarah, the daughter of George and Alice Griggs was born on 15 May 1637 in Boston. [2] She died by 5 September 1665. She married second Roger Burgess about 1657. [1] Roger married second Elizabeth ___. [1]
William was probably the servant of George Hallsell. [1]
Alice Griggs of Boston made her will on 20 July 1662. If her son James Griggs did not return, she left her estate to her grandson William King and her daughters Sarah Burgess and Ann Jones. On 1 May 1663 administration was granted to Robert Lattimore in right of his wife Anne and Roger Burgess in right of his wife Sarah. [3]
On 5 September 1665 the magistrates in Boston granted administration on the estate of James Griggs to Robert Lattimore and Roger Burgess. They refer to his Roger's late wife Sarah and her child with William King and her children with Roger. [3]

i. William King was born on 6 November 1655 in Boston. He died there on 1 May 1690. He married Deborah Prince.
Children of Roger Burgess and Sarah Griggs:
i. James Burgess was born on 24 April 1659. [1]
ii. Samuel Burgess was born on 17 November 1660. [1]
iii. Sarah Burgess was born on 28 January 1662. [1]
iv. Mary Burgess was born on 3 May 1665. [1]
