JAMES BARKER (1712–1802), son of James Barker and Sarah Wicom
ELIZABETH KILBOURNE (1713–1763), daughter of Joseph Kilbourne and Mary Clark
James, the son of James and Sarah Barker, was born on 21 April 1712 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts. [1] He died of "old age" on 27 March 1802, age 90, in Rowley. [1] He married first Elizabeth Kilbourne on 1 January 1733/4 in Rowley. [1] He married second the widow Hannah Stickney of Boxford on 10 July 1764 in Boxford. [1][2] She died of "cold and old age" on 4 November 1806, age 93, in Rowley. [1] She is probably the Hannah, daughter of Samuel and Hannah Goodrich who was born 1 February 1712 in Newbury. [3] This Hannah is probably the Hannah Goodridge who married Joseph Stickney on 7 November 1737 in Boxford. [2] Joseph Stickney, yeoman of Boxford, died between 9 March 1656, when he wrote his will, which named his wife Hannah, and 12 April 1756, when it was proved. [4]
Elizabeth Kilbourne was born on 5 November 1713 in Rowley, but unfortunately her birth record does not name her parents. [1] The unnamed wife of James, Jr. died on 9 September 1763 in Rowley. [1]
Elizabeth Barker, the daughter of Joseph Kilbourne of Rowley received an inheritance in the 21 April 1741 division of his estate.

i. Jedidiah Barker was born on 14 April 1735. He died in October or November 1766 in Bradford, Essex County. He married Sarah Stickney.
ii. Sarah Barker was born on 29 September 1737. Sarah, the daughter of James, was baptized on 2 October 1737 in Rowley. [1] She might be the Sarah who married David Burpee after 20 March 1759 (intention) in Rowley. [1] This David is probably the son of Ebenzer and Miriam Burpee, born on 28 August 1736 in Rowley. [1] David and Sarah named their children who were born in Rowley: Ebenezer, Elizabeth, and Nathaniel. [1]
iii. Nathaniel Barker was born on 17 November 1739. He died of "old age" on 26 October 1826, age 87, in Rowley. [1] He married Jane Sawyer on 31 March 1767 in Rowley. [1] Jane is probably the daughter of Ezekiel and Mehitable Sawyer who was born on 12 July 1738 in Rowley. [1] She died on 15 January 1813, age 74, in Rowley. [1]
iv. Mary Barker was born on 23 September 1742. She may be the Mary who married Moses Lowell on 21 December 1762 in Rowley. [1]
