EBENEZER BADCOCK (1662–1717), son of Captain Robert Badcock and Joanna Unknown

HANNAH BARBOUR (b. 1654), possible daughter of Captain George Barbour and Elizabeth Clark

Ebenezer, the son of Robert and Joanna Badcock, was born on 2 October 1662 in Milton, (now in) Norfolk County, Massachusetts. [1][2] He died on 15 December 1717 in Sherborn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. [3] Various authorities claim that he married Hannah Barbour but none provide any evidence of this. [4][5][6]

Hannah, the daughter of George and Elizabeth Barbour, was born on 16 April 1654 in Medfield, Norfolk County, Massachusetts. [6][7]

Ebenezer died intestate. Hannah Badcock, widow, and Samuel Bullard, yeoman, of Sherborn posted bond on the estate of Ebenezer Badcock of Sherborn on 20 March 1717/8. Hannah agreed with her son Ebenezer on her share on 8 June 1720. John Leland and Eleazer Ryder, husbandmen of Sherborn, and their wives, Abigail and Hannah, respectively pronounced themselves satisfied and relinquished further claims on Ebenezer's estate on 4 March 1719.
