Children of John Parker

i. Sergeant John Parker married Sarah Unknown in 1651. [Ref] She married second John Waite. [Ref]

John settled in what is now Andover. [Ref]

ii. Captain James Parker married Elizabeth Unknown.

James came to Chelmsford, probably in 1653, with his brothers Abraham, Jacob and Joseph. [Ref]

One thousand and five hundred acres lying north of Concord in present-day Billerica was conveyed to Deputy Governor Thomas Dudley, and on 28 February 1651/2 he sold this land to Thomas Chamberlain, James Parker, and Isaac Learned of Woburn for 110 pounds. These three men became citizens of adjoining Chelmsford. [AA]

iii. Abraham Parker was born say 1618. He died on 12 August 1685 in Chelmsford. He married Rose Whitlock.

iv. Joseph Parker married Margaret Unknown.

Joseph came to Chelmsford, probably in 1653, with his brothers James, Abraham and Jacob. [Ref]

Joseph [or possibly his son Joseph] of Chelmsford was a soldier in [presumably] King Philip's War on 24 March 1675/6. [Ref]

v. Seargeant Jacob Parker married Sarah Unknown.

Jacob came to Chelmsford, probably in 1653, with his brothers James, Abraham and Joseph. [Ref]

An undated inventory amounting to £200-10-00 was exhibited by [presumably his widow] Sarah. [Ref]
