Isaac Barron (1671–1739), son of Moses Barron and Mary Learned

Sarah Goodwin (say 1674–by 1725), daughter of Daniel Goodwin

Isaac, the son of Moses and Mary Barron, was born on 1 December 1671 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. [1] Isaac, the son of Moses and Mary, died on 16 September 1739, age 67, in Chelmsford. [1] He probably married first Sarah Goodwin on 6 December 1694 in Kittery, York County, Maine. [2][3][4] He married second Mary (Jones) Adams after 28 February 1724/5 (intention) in Chelmsford. [1][5] Mary was born about 1672. [5] She married first Captain Joseph Adams on 26 September 1696 in Concord, Middlesex County. [6] Joseph, the son of Captain Samuel Adams and his wife Esther was born on 27 January 1673 in Chelmsford. [1] He died there on 22 January 1717/8. [1] She married third as his second wife Colonel Joseph Varnum of Dracut, Middlesex County after 17 December 1743 (intention) in Chelmsford. [1][5] Joseph was born in 1672. [5] He married first Ruth Jewett. [5] She died in 1728. [5]

Sarah Goodwin was born say 1674. She probably died by 28 February 1724/5. Sarah was the daughter of Daniel Goodwin of Kittery, York County, Maine and "possibly" his second wife Sarah Sanders. [4]

Isaac's gravestone in Chelmsford says that he died on 16 September 1739, age 67 years and nine months and 16 days. [1]

Isaac and Sarah's marriage record incorrectly calls Isaac "Isaac Barnes." [2][3]

Isaac was a soldier in Berwick. [4] He appears to have been an affluent and quiet farmer in Chelmsford, with little public life.

Isaac Barron, yeoman of Chelmsford, died intestate. His widow Mary refused administration and it was granted to Isaac's son-in-law John Tyler of Tolland in Hartford County on 2 October 1739. Inventory of Isaac's personal estate was taken on 4 October 1739 and exhibited to the court on 26 October 1739. It amounted to £312-07-06, plus crops. His land was valued at £640-14-00 on 17 October 1739. [7]
