Nathaniel Wyatt (bp. 1648–by 1718), son of Edward Wyatt and Mary Unknown
Joanna Spurr (c. 1640–1688), daughter of Robert Spurr
Nathanial, the son of Edward Wyatt, was baptized on 2 July 1648 in Dorchester. [1] He died by 22 December 1718. He married first Joanna Spur on 8 January 1668/9 in Dorchester. He married second Mary Corbin of New Cambridge on 13 December 1688. Mary was probably the widow of John Corbin. [2][3][4]
Joanna Spurr was born about 1648, based on her marriage. She died on 22 March 1687/8 in Dorchester. [4]
Joanna was baptized as an unmarried adult, along with the rest of her father’s children, on 24 December 1665 in Dorchester.
In 1679 the Dorchester church began to question some of its members. “The 6 of ye 5 Mo 79 the Church called for Joshua Georg Daniell Ellen Jno Spur & Nathanell Wiet & abigall Merrifield having sent to them before by messengers to warne them to appeare, but only Nathanell Wiet Jno Spur did appear who did not manifest any repentance for their former miscarridg but carried it very dissatisfactorily before ye church: who were all excommunicated.” [1][5]
A note in the Suffolk probate files says, “Peter Lyon who married the daughter of Nathaniel Wyatt of Dorchester Housewright deceased desires that administration may not be granted to his brother-in-law Jonathan Wyat nor any other person till he and the rest of the Children have a hearing before his Honr. the Judge of Probate. Boston December 22, 1718. [2]

i. Nathaniel Wyatt was born on 26 November 1669 in Dorchester. He was baptized on 13 2 1684 in Dorchester.
ii. Edward Wyatt was born on 5 October 1671 in Dorchester. [1] He was baptized on 12 2 1684 in Dorchester.
iii. Jonathan Wyatt was born on 27 May 1677 in Dorchester. He died after 8 December 1717. He married Martha Vose.
iv. Rebecca Wyatt was baptized on 19 8 84 in Dorchester.
v. Comfort Wyatt (twin) was baptized on 5 July 1685 in Dorchester.
vi. Standfast Wyatt (twin) was baptized on 5 July 1685 in Dorchester.

vii. David Wyatt was born on 27 September 1689 in Dorchester.
viii. Waitstill Wyatt was born on 3 January 1691/2 in Dorchester. She married Peter Lyon. [6]
ix. Meredith Wyatt was born on 4 February 1693/4 in Dorchester. She married Elhanan Lyon on 24 September 1713 in Dorchester.
x. Edward Wyatt was born on 1 February 1694/5 in Dorchester. He married Abigail Puffer on 15 April 1718 in Dorchester.
xi. Benjamin Wyatt was born on 21 February 1699 in Dorchester. He married Miriam Puffer on 11 January 1719/20 in Dorchester. [2]
