THOMAS READ (d. aft. 1726), son Thomas Read and Katherine Unknown
MARY GOODRICH (1650–1724), daughter of John Goodrich and Elizabeth Unknown
Thomas Read died after 1726, probably in Oxford, Massachusetts. [1] He married Mary Goodrich on 30 May 1677 in Sudbury. [2]
Mary, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Goodrich, was born on 15 December 1650 in Wethersfield. [1][3] Mary, the wife of Thomas, Sr., died on 2 October 1724 in Sudbury. [2]
John Goodrich bought land in Wethersfield from Thomas Edwards and conveyed half to Thomas Read, Jr., the husband of his daughter Mary, on 29 September 1677. [1]
Hudson says that Mary came from Lavenham, County Suffolk, England, between Sudbury and Bury St. Edmunds. [4] It was her father that came from this area.

i. Thomas Read was born on 22 March 1677/8 in Sudbury. He married first Mary Bigelow. He married second Abigail Bacon.
ii. Mary Read was born on 5 January 1679. She married Joseph Severs on 13 October 170- [torn] in Sudbury. [2] The year is apparently 1700 or 1701 as Joseph and Mary had a child born in Sudbury on 29 October 1702. [2]
iii. Rachel Read was born on 19 June 1682.
iv. Nathaniel Read was born on 16 August 1684.
v. Elizabeth Read was born on 16 November 1687. She married Nathaniel Wilson on 28 December 1709 in Sudbury. [2]
vi. Hannah Read was born on 17 October 1689. She died on 3 August 1691 in Sudbury.
