James, the son of Henry Cobb, was born on 14 January 1634 in Plymouth. [1][2] He died intestate in 1695. [3] He married Sarah Lewis on 26 December 1663 in Barnstable. [2][4]

Sarah, the daughter of George and Mary Lewis, was born on 2 February 1643 in Barnstable. [2] She was baptized there on 11 February 1643. [2] She married second as his third wife Captain Jonathan Sparrow on 23 November 1698 in Barnstable. [2][4]

i. Mary Cobb was born on 26 November 1664. She died on 16 December 1737 in Hartford. [3] She married Captain Caleb Williamson on 3 May 1687. [3] He died on 24 December 1738, "aged 87 years wanting 2 months and 18 days." [3] Caleb and Mry are buried in the Center Church Graveyard in Hartford. [3]

ii. Sarah Cobb was born on 26 January 1666. She married Benjamin Hinckley on 27 December 1686. [3] Benjamin, the son of Samuel and Mary (Goodspeed) Hinckley, was born on 6 December 1666. [3]

iii. Patience Cobb was born on 12 January 1668. She died on 30 March 1747. [3] She married first James, the son of Edward Coleman. [3] She married second Thomas Lombard of Barnstable on 10 September 1715. [3] He died on 30 May 1761. [3]

iv. Hannah Cobb was born on 28 March 1671. She died on 2 May 1739. [3] She married Joseph Davis. [3] He died on 10 August 1735. [3]

v. James Cobb was born on 8 July 1673. He died on 3 January 1757 in Barnstable. [3] He married Elizabeth Hallet on 18 September 1695 in Barnstable. [3] She died on 1 April 1759. [3]

vi. Gershom Cobb was born on the last of August 1675. He died about 1751. [3] He married Hannah Davis on 24 February 1702/3 in Barnstable. [3]

vii. John Cobb was born on 20 December 1677. He died on 24 August 1754. [3] He married Hannah Lothrop on 20 December 1707. [3] Hannah, the daughter of John Lothrop and Mary Cole, was born on 13 March 1682 and died on 3 April 1747 in Barnstable. [3] John and Hannah are buried in the Old Cemetery in Barnstable. [3]

viii. Elizabeth Cobb was born on 6 October 1680.

ix. Martha Cobb was born on 6 February 1685. She was living on 21 February 1705/6, when she gave a receipt for her share of her father's estate. [3]

x. Mercy Cobb was born on 9 April 1685. She married first Richard Sparrow. She married second Israel Doane.

xi. Thankful Cobb was born on 10 June 1687. [5] She died on 7 April 1771 in Truro. [5] married Major Thomas Paine.
