Abigail was born about 1615. [2] The widow Abigail Browne died on 23 August 1702 in Salisbury. [1]

The widow Browne who died on 28: 10: 1641 in Salisbury must be Henry's mother. [1]

Henry was a deacon and a shoemaker. He was the brother of William and George of Salisbury. [3]

Henry was a freeman in Salisbury on 24 (2) 1649. [4]

Henry was on the trial jury on 22 (2) 1649, 7 (8) 1651, 12 (2), 1653, 10 April 1677 and 8 April 1682. He was on the grand jury on 10: 2: 166, 12 April 1670, 28 September 1680, 30 September 1684 and 31 March 1685. He was th foreman of the grand jury on 30 March 1675, 30 May 1676, 8: 8: 1678 [5]

Henry was dismissed from all training, allowing ten groats a year to the Salibury military company, in April 1670. [6]

Henry was appointed a commissioner to end small causes in October 1677, November 1678, November 1679 and September 1681. [7]

Henry was licensed to sell wine for the necessity of sick folk in April 1679. [8]

i. Captain Nathaniel Browne was born on 30: 4m: 1642. He died on 5 October 1723 in Salisbury. [1] He married Hannah Felllows on 18: 8m. 1666 in Salisbury. [10] Hannah, the widow of Captain Nathaniel died on 23 May 1727 in Salisbury. [1]

ii. Abigail Browne was born on 23: 12m: 1643. She married Samuel French on 1: 4: 1664 in Salisbury. [10]

iii. Jonathan Browne was born on 25: 9m: 1646. He probably died young. [3]

iv. Philip Browne was born on —: 10m 164[6!]. He died on 21 July 1729. He married Mary Buswell.

v. Abraham Browne was born on 1: 11m: 1649. He died on 26 March 1733 in Salisbury. [1] He married Elizabeth Shepherd on 15 June 1672 in Salisbury. [10]

Abraham was a yeoman of Salisbury. [3]

vi. Sarah Browne was born on 6: 10m: 1654. She married Andrew Grele, Jr. on 12 June 1673 in Salisbury. [10]

vii. Henry Browne was born on 8: 12m: 1658. Henry "sometime of Salisbury, late of Salem" died on 25 April 1708. [1] He married Hannah Putnam on 17 May 1682 in Salisbury. [10]
