William, the brother of Henry, was in Salisbury as early as 1642. He was a planter. [2]

iii. Captain George Browne was born about 1623. He died on 31 October 1699. [2] He married first Ann Eaton on 25 June 1645 in Salisbury. [2] She died on 16 December 1687. [2] George married second the widow Hannah Hazen of Rowley. [2] She died in February 1715/6.

Captain George Browne was the brother of Henry. [2]
