John Blaisdell (1687–1753), son of Henry Blaisdell and Mary Unknown

Ebenezer Stevens (1690–living 1753), daughter of Thomas Stevens and Martha Bartlett

John Blaisdell was born on 4 February 1686/7 in Amesbury. [1] He died between 10 April and 21 May 1753. John, Jr. married Ebenezer Stevens on 11 January 1710/1 in Amesbury. [1]

Ebenezer, the daughter of Thomas and Martha Stevens, was born on 26 March 1690 in Amesbury. [1]

John, yeoman of Amesbury, wrote his will on 10 April 1753. His witnesses testified on 21 May 1753. He mentioned his wife Ebenezer, his unmarried daughter Abigail, his sons Ezra, Henry, Nathaniel and Stephen, and his [married] daughters Hannah Kelly, Mary Webster and Martha Webster. [2]

The Amesbury vital records include the following birth dates for children of John and Ebenezer:

Ezra, 2 August 1711
Ezra, 19 August 1713
Hannah 19 February 1709
Hannah 20 February 1711/2
Mary 21 March 1713
Mary 22 March 1714/5

Clearly, these are not consistent. From them I conclude that there might have been two Hannahs and the first died young. Unless they were twins, there could only be one Ezra and one Mary. It is likely one was born about 1713 and one was born about 1715. Thus, the likely dates are Ezra, born in 1713, and Mary, born in 1715.
