Ruhamah swore to Job's inventory on 5 March 1676/7. Job died intestate and the following day his estate was divided between his relict, Ruhamah, and his children, Timothy, Hannah, Eleazar, John, and Hezekiah. The settlement refers to the children's grandfather, Mr. Richard Bourne, and Ruhama's brother, John Hallett. [1]

Ruhamah is referred to as Ruhamah Bourne in the 23 June 1684 will of her stepmother Ann (Besse) Hallett, proved on 1 June 1694. Among the items in Ann's inventory was a debt due from Ruhamah Hersey. Ruhamah attested to the inventory on 13 April 1694. [4]

William Hersey referred to Ruhamah as his "now wife" in his will of 1689. [1]
