ROBERT BARTLETT (c. 1603–1676)
MARY WARREN (b. c. 1609), daughter of Richard Warren and Elizabeth Unknown
Robert Bartlett was born about 1603. He died between 19 September and 29 October 1676. He married Mary, the daughter of Richard Warren. [1][2]
Mary, the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Warren, was born say 1609. She died a few years after her husband. [2]
Robert and Mary (traveling with her mother) came to New England in the Ann, arriving in Plymouth in July 1623. [1][2]
Robert made his nuncupative will on 19 September 1676, leaving his estate to his wife Mary. It was proved on 20 October 1676. [1]
Children of Robert Bartlett and Mary Warren:
i. Benjamin Bartlett was born say 1629. [1] He died in 1698. He married first Susanna Jenney, the daughter of John Jenney, by 1654. [1] He married second Sarah Brewster. [1][2] Sarah was the daughter of Love Brewster and the granddaughter of Elder William Brewster of the Mayflower. [1] Benjamin married third Cicely Unknown about 1678. [1][2]
ii. Rebecca Bartlett was born say 1631. [1] She died about 1657/8. [2] She married, as his first wife, Sargent William Harlow. on 20 December 1649 in Plymouth. [1][2] William died on 26 August 1691, age 67. [2]
iii. Mary Bartlett was born say 1633. She died on 26 September 1692 in Plymouth. She married first Richard Foster. She married second Jonathan Morey.
iv. Sarah Bartlett was born say 1636. [1] She married Samuel Ryder, Jr. of Plymouth on 23 December 1656. [1][2]
v. Joseph Bartlett was born about 1639. [1] He died on 13 February 1711 in Plymouth. [2] He married Hannah, the daughter of Thomas Pope, by about 1663. [1]She died on 12 March 1710. [1]
vi. Elizabeth Bartlett was born say 1641. [1] She died in 1713. [2] She married Anthony Sprague of Plymouth on 26 December 1661. [1][2] Anthony died on 3 September 1718. [2]
vii. Lydia Bartlett was born on 8 June 1648. [1, mistakenly appears in the records as 1647][2] She died on 11 September 1691 in Plymouth. [1] She married first James Barneby of Plymouth. [1][2] She married second, as his second wife, John Nelson of Plymouth. [2]
viii. Mary Bartlett was born on 10 March 1650. [2] She married John Joy of Boston on 25 December 1668. [1]
