John's father left him 400 acres of Land's Land "Good Prospect",
part of Johnson's farm and 130 acres of marsh on the east side of the Patuxent

was born on 1 Jan 1705 in St. James Parish in Anne Arundel County. [Ref,

Joseph's father gave him the right to live on part of Highland for life. [Ref,
p. 42] Perhaps he had some defect as he was left no land.
