Joseph emigrated to West River, Ann Arundel county. [Ref] His home in Maryland was called Newton's Point. [Ref, 2;214]

1. Sarah Newton was born on 28 Aug 1721 in Prince George's county. She died in 1791. She married Stephen Newton Chiswell.

3. Ann Newton was born on 9 Feb 1727 in Prince George's county. [Ref]

MARY NEWTON (1690 – 1775)

Mary Newton was born in 1690. She died on 19 Mar 1775 in Leicestershire. [Ref] She is buried in the Great Meeting Cemetery on East Bond Street in Leicester. [Ref] She married William Chiswell. [Ref]

On 23 Jan 1758 Mary wrote a letter to her son Stephen Newton Chiswell from Leicester. [Ref]

SARAH NEWTON (1723 – 1791)
