CAPTAIN THOMAS PAINE (c. 1656–1721), son of THOMAS PAINE and MARY SNOW
HANNAH SHAW (c. 1661–1713), daughter of JONATHAN SHAW
Thomas, the son of Thomas and Mary (Snow) Paine, was born about 1656. [WTPE] Captain Thomas Paine died on 23 June 1721 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts. [WTPE] He married Hannah Shaw. [WTPE] Captain Thomas Paine married second Elizabeth Ayers on 8 March 1714/5 in Boston. [WTPE]
Hannah, the daughter of Jonathan Shaw of Plymouth, was born about 1661. [WTPE] She died on 24 July 1713 in Truro. [WTPE]
Thomas Paine made his will on 6 April 1720; it was proved on 4 July 1721. He mentioned his second wife Elizabeth; his sons Thomas, Jonathan, Elkanah, Joshua and Barnabas; his married daughters Hannah Binney, Abigail White, and Lydia Hinckley; his unmarried daughter Phebe Paine. [WTPE]

i. Hannah Paine was born on 6 April 1679. She died on 17 November 1681. [WTPE]
ii. Hugh Paine was born on 5 July 1680. [WTPE] He died on 29 November 1681. [WTPE]
iii. Thomas Paine was born on 28 February 1681/2. He married Thankful Cobb.
iv. Hannah Paine was born on 12 May 1684. She married John Binney.
v. Jonathan Paine was born on 1 February 1685/6. He married first Sarah Mayo. He married second Mary Purrington. [WTPE]
vi. Abigail Paine was born on 4 March 1687/8. She died on 21 January 1688/9. [WTPE]
vii. Abigail Paine was born on 10 November 1689. She married Reverend Ebenezer White.
viii. Phebe Paine was born on 4 March 1690/1. She died on 21 January 1695/6. [WTPE]
ix. Elkanah Paine was born on 1 February 1692/3. He married first Reliance Young. He married second Hannah Unknown.
x. Moses Paine was born on 28 September 1695. He married Margery Mayo.
xi. Joshua Paine was born on 28 August 1697. He married first [his first cousin] Constance (Paine) Baker, the daughter of Elisha Paine. [WTPE]
xii. Phebe Paine was born on 11 February 1698/9 in Eastham. She died on 23 June 1748 in Truro. She married Paul Knowles.
xiii. Lydia Paine was born on 4 December 1700. She married Josiah Hinckley.
xiv. Barnabas Paine was born on 13 November 1705. He married Mary Purrington.
