LIEUTENANT THOMAS FULLER (bp. 1619–1690)
HANNAH FLOWER (say 1620–by 1704)
Ralph Fuller, linen weaver of Wortwell, co. Norfolk, made his will on 23 October 1645; it was proved on 17 August 1650. He named his wife Elizabeth; son John; son Robert's son John; John, son of son Thomas in New England; John, son of son James in Wortwell; Sarah, daughter of Thomas Dodget of Wortwell. [1]
Ralph's son, Robert Fuller, linen weaver of Mendham, Suffolk, made his will on 12 November 1663; it was proved in 1667. Among others, he mentioned his parents Ralph and Elizabeth Fuller, late of Wortwell, and his brother Thomas of New England. [1]
Thomas was the son of Ralph Fuller of Wortwell, co. Norfolk. [1] Thomas, the son of Rafe and Elizabeth Fuller, was baptized on 20 January 1619 in Redenhall, co. Norfolk. [2] Lieutenant Thomas Fuller died on 28 September 1690 in Dedham. [1][3] He married Hannah Flower on 22 November 1643 in Dedham. [1][3]
Hannah Flower was born say 1620. She died before 15 February 1703/4.
Thomas settled in Dedham about 1635. [1] He was served as selectman for 14 years, beginning in 1663. [1] He was deputy to the General Court in September 1673, February 1679/80, and May 1686. [1] His death record refers to him as Lieutenant. [1]
Thomas Fuller of Dedham made his will on 24 September 1690. He left his estate to his wife Hannah for life. He mentioned his sons John and Thomas, and his daughters Elizabeth Metcalf, Mary Fisher, and Sarah Day. [4]
Thomas Fuller refers to land left his children by their aunt Margaret Kingsbury in his will. John Kingsbury of Dedham named his loving friend and kinsman Thomas Fuller of Dedham an executor of his will. On 15 February 1703/4 the heirs of Thomas Fuller (Thomas Fuller, husbandman of Dedham, Elizabeth Metcalf, widow, Daniel Fisher, husbandman of Dedham, and his wife Mary, and Sarah Day of Dedham) divided land that had come to them from "their great aunt Margaret Kingsberry." It is not known how Thomas Fuller or Hannah Flower were related to John or (his wife) Margaret Kingsbury. [4][5]
