Jacob, the son of Daniel and Mary Bacon, was born on 2 June 1654 in Cambridge or Newton. [1][2] He died on 5 June 1709, age 56, in Newton. [2][3] He married Elizabeth Knight before 1677 in Cambridge or Charlestown. [4]

Elizabeth, the daughter of John Knight, was born on 3 June 1656 in Charlestown. [5] Elizabeth, the wife of Jacob, died on 27 February 1713, age 57, in Roxbury. [6]

Jacob's father gave him a parcel of land in Watertown on the south side of the Charles River containing five and a half acres. [7]

Elizabeth's father left a bequest to his granddaughter Ruhamah Bacon in his will of 28 November 1701. [8]

Elizabeth's grandfather William Johnson left a bequest to his granddaughter Bacon in his will of 7 December 1677. [9]

Jacob Bacon of Newton made his will on 21 May 1709; it was proved on 4 July 1709. He left Elizabeth his estate during his widowhood. If she were to remarry she was to get four pounds a year. Abigail was to get five pounds after she was brought up in addition to her share. His son Jacob was to have what he had been given already. The rest of the estate was to be divided between his children Jacob, John, Ruhumah, Mary, Elizabeth an Abigail. His wife Elizabeth was his executrix. [3]

i. Elizabeth Bacon was born on 26 March 1677 in Cambridge or Newton. [1][2] She died on 6 April 1678 in Cambridge or Newton. [1][2]

ii. Jacob Bacon was born on 9 April 1680 in Cambridge or Newton. [1][2] He married Dorothy Broadhurst on 24 December 1700 in Roxbury. [6] Dorothy, the daughter of Ralph Broadhurst, was born on 1 March 1679/80 in Roxbury. [6]

iii. Elizabeth Bacon was born on 27 March 1682 in Cambridge or Newton. [1][2] She died on 12 May 1684 in Watertown. [10]

iv. Deacon John Bacon was born on 27 February 1683 in Watertown. He died on 19 February 1740/1 in Canterbury, Windham County, Connecticut. He married first Marcy Foster. He married second Hannah (Adams) Perkins.

v. Ruhama Bacon was born on 8 April 1686 in Newton. [2]

v. Mary Bacon was born on 2 February 1689 in Newton or Roxbury. [2]

i. Isaac Bacon was born on 28 January or June 1798 in Newton. [2] He died on 12 August 1699 in Newton. [2]

i. Elizabeth Bacon was born on 6 May 1692 in Watertown. [10]

i. Abigail Bacon was born on 16 February 1700/1 in Newton. [2]
