WILLIAM CHISWELL (1692–1768), son of Richard Chiswell and Frances Dand
MARY NEWTON (1690–1775), daughter of Joseph Newton and Margaret Presbury.
William Chiswell, the son of Richard Chiswell and Frances Dand, was born on 18 Aug 1692. He died on 18 Jan 1768. He is buried in the Great Meeting Cemetery on East Bond Street in Leicester. He married Mary Newton.
Mary Newton, the daughter of Joseph Newton and Margaret Presbury, was born in 1690. She died on 19 Mar 1775 in Leicestershire. She is buried in the Great Meeting Cemetery on East Bond Street in Leicester. .
On 23 Jan 1758 Mary wrote a letter to her son Stephen Newton Chiswell from Leicester.

i. William Chiswell was baptised on 8 Jun 1717. He died on 26 Jul 1722.
ii. Stephen Newton Chiswell was born in 1715 in Leicestershire. He was baptised on 18 Jul 1721 in Leicestershire. He married Sarah Newton.
iii. Mary "Mollie" Chiswell was baptised on 14 Aug 1722. She died in 1777. She married Unknown Johnson.
iv. Joseph Chiswell was baptised on 30 Mar 1724.
v. John Chiswell was born on 9 May 1725. He died on 3 Aug 1725.
vi. Richard Chiswell was baptised on 11 Apr 1730. He died in 1786. He married first Elizabeth Buck in Dec 1752. He married second Mary Postle on 2 Nov 1760. Richard wrote a letter to his brother in America with North Walsham, county Norfolk as the return address.
viii. Sarah "Sally" Chiswell was baptised on 23 Nov 1733. She married Unknown Bull after 1747. She emigrated to Maryland before 1760.
