Godfrey Sheldon, planter of Scarborough alias Black Point, age about 65, made his will on 13 March 1663/4. It was sworn to on 3 April 1670. He left his eldest son William half of his estate and his wife Alice the other half, for her life. After her decease it was to go to William. William was to pay his brother John four pound and each of his sisters ten shillings. [2]
