John Tidd died between 9 April and July 1656. He married first Margaret ___. He married second Alice ___. Alice, the widow of John Tidd, married William Mann on 11 June 1657 in Cambridge. [1] William was born about 1607 and died on 7 March 1661/2. [1] He married first Mary Jarred on 1643. [1]

Margaret died in 1651 in Woburn. [2]

John Tidd, Sr. sold a house in Charlestown to William Johnson by a deed of 1652.2.9 [9 April 1652]. [3]

John Tidd, Sr., tailor of Woburn, made his will on 9 April 1656; it was proved on 10 November 1656. He left his wife Alice his house, with its land and orchard, for life, or if she married, until six years after her remarriage. He also left bequests to his son John and his grandchildren Benjamin, Hannah, John, and Samuel Savell, and his son Samuel's daughter, Thomas Fuller, and John Kendall. He named his daughters Mary and Elizabeth his executors. Inventory on his estate was taken in July 1656 and amounted to 163 pounds. [4]

i. Hannah Tidd married William Savell in 1641. [4]

ii. Elizabeth Tidd was probably born about 1620. She died by 25 August 1684. She married Thomas Fuller.

iii. Mary Tidd married Francis Kendall alias Miles on 24 December 1644 in Woburn. [2]

iv. John Tidd married Rebecca Wood on 14 April 1650 in Woburn. [2]

John moved to Cambridge Farms (Lexington). [4]

v. Samuel Tidd died in 1651 in Woburn. [2] He married and had a daughter.
