Thomas Freeman of Irchester died between 24 March 1585, when he wrote his will, and 11 May 1586 when it was proved. [4]

Henry Freeman (say 1566–5 August 1606, probably Cranford, St. John, Northants) married Margaret Edwards. [4]
Henry held crown lands at Cranford, Barton by Kettering and Wellingborough in Northants. Children: [1]
i. Thomas Freeman (c. August 1593–bu. 26 August 1637 Cranford St. John)
ii. Henry Freeman (say 1594–bu. 13 July 1631 Wellingborough) married Eleanor Mulsho on 16 April 1618 in Finedon, Northants.

iv. Jane Freeman (say 1598–bu. 1674/5 Scaldwell, Northants) married Reverend William Spencer.
John Tompson, gentleman of Little Preston, Northamptonshire, England, died between 7 November and 17 December 1626. He had an unknown first wife. [1] He married second Alice Freeman say 1613. [1]
Alice Freeman, the daughter of Henry Freeman and Margaret Edwards, was born say 1595. [1] She died after 2 June 1652, when she witnessed a deed. [1] She married second Robert Parke.
Alice was living in Roxbury on 2 April 1640, when a complaint was lodged against the widow Alice Tompson. [1]
On 30 May 1644 the Massachusetts Bay court gave Robert Parke permission to proceed with his marriage to Alice Tompson. [2]
John Tompson, made his will on 6 November 1626. He added a codicil the next day. It was proved on 11 April 1627. He mentioned his wife Alice; his underage son Thomas; "all my children"; his brother-in-law William Spencer, minister; his brother-in-law Henry Freeman, gentleman. His wife Alice and brother Thomas Freeman were made executors. [1]
The inquisition post mortem for John says he died on 6 November 1626 in London; this must be an error.
The baptism entry for John's last child refers to John as deceased.

ii. Margaret Tompson was born say 1614. Margaret Thompson, the niece of Mr. Thomas Freeman of the Cranford St. John, married Robert Peake, yeoman of Achurch, on 31 July 1634 in Cranford St. John. [1] Robert was the son of Boniface and Joan (Clarke) Peake. [1]
iii. Thomas Tompson was born and baptized on 23 December 1616. [1] He died between 20 October 1641 and 27 January 1645/6. [1]
Thomas was a citizen and fishmonger of London. [1]
iv. Samuel Tompson was baptized on 25 May 1618. He was living on 27 January 1645/6. [1] He married Elizabeth Dayrell on 27 February 1639/40 in Shalston, Bucks. [1]
v. Mary Tompson was baptized on 14 November 1619. She probably married Joseph Wise on 3 December 1641 in Roxbury. [1]
vi. Dorothy Tompson was baptized on 2 July 1621. She was buried on 19 October 1621 in Preston Capes. [3]
vii. Bridget Tompson was baptized on 11 September 1622. She was buried in August 1643 in Roxbury. [1] She married Captain George Denison.
viii. Dorothy Tompson was baptized on 5 July 1624 in Preston Capes, Northamptonshire. [4] She died after 5 September 1707. She married Thomas Parke.
ix. Nathaniel Tompson was baptized on 16 October 1625. He was living on 14 Augusts 1637. [1]
x. Martha Tompson was baptized on 17 December 1626. She was living on 14 August 1637. [1]
