THOMAS HYLAND

Thomas Hyland was chosen a juror for the grand inquest jury on 2 June 1646 and he was fined for absence on 27 October 1646. [PC01]

Thomas was chosen a constable for "Seteaat" on 7 June 1648. [PC02]

On 7 June 1653 Thomas Hyland, Sr. and Thomas Hyland, Jr. commenced a suit against Mr. Charles Chauncey and others. They later met with them and publicly acknowldedged that they were at fault. The court recorded this on 7 March 1653/4. [PC03]

Thomas Hyland, Sr. is on a 26 February list of people in Scituate with rights to divisions and Commons. [SCT]

Children of Thomas and Deborah Hyland:

i. Thomas Hyland married Elizabeth Stockbridge.
