Eglin Hatherly married second Richard Sealis in 1637. [SCT]

Scituate's first street—the highway or Kents Street—was laid out in 1633 and lots were laid out to Edward Foster, Humphrey Turner and Anthony Annable. The second street was Meeting House Lane and lots there were laid out for George Lewis, John Hewes, Walter Woodworth, Richard Foxwell and Isaac Chittenden. North of Satuit Brook was a path to the harbor with lots belonging to James Cudworth, John Lothrop, Eglin Hanford, Gowen White and Timothy Hatherly. [SCT]

Eglin Hanford was the sister of Timothy Hatherly, who was an early resident of Scituate who settled on a personal grant from Governor Bradford and the Plymouth court, called the Conihasset grant. [SCT] He was a Merchant Adventurer of Plymouth Colony and was the largest land holder in Scituate. [SCT]

Eglin had children Lettice, Margaret and Thomas. [SCT]

i. Lettice Hanford married Edward Foster in 1635. [SCT]

ii. Margaret Hanford married Isaac Robinson in 1636. [SCT]

iii. Thmas Hanford

iv. Elizabeth Hanford married Nicholas Wade.
