Benjamin may be one of the Benjamin Rockwoods who were original signers of the covenant of the First Congregational Church in Franklin in 1737/8. [FCCF] The other might have been his nephew.

"At a Church meeting August. 25. 1738 ... Voted, That Benjamin Rockwood and Benjamin Rockwood junr. who were among those that were dismissed at first from the first Chh in Wrentham in order to form a 2d Church be admitted to sign the Covenant." [FCCF]
